Food Storage and Pregnancy

The same principles of Food storage apply to pregnancy. There's just a few things that get added to the diet that need to be added to your inventory.
  • nausea foods- ginger, mint, soda crackers
  • extra water - water needs increase while pregnant and increase again for breastfeeding and formula needs
  • Storage highly craved foods when possible - if you notice a trend in your pregnancy of highly craved foods, just stock up. Your husband will appreciate that he just has to run to the pantry and not the store
  • Prenatal vitamins and b-vitamins (this can help with nausea as does Unisom)
  • Zinc and magnesium can help with post-partum depression and blues
Begin storing for baby while you're pregnant not after

·        Diapers, formula, wipes, nursing pads - start as soon as your pregnant
      ·        It also prepares your budget for another person
